The cylinder gasket is an object that seals the engine oil, cooling water and gas inside the cylinder.

Commonly used cylinder gaskets include asbestos (non-asbestos) rubber composite gaskets, metal-clad (copper-clad iron-clad) gaskets, composite-coated gaskets, metal composite gaskets, metal rubber ring gaskets, etc.

According to the different characteristics of raw materials, cylinder gaskets can be divided into: copper plate cylinder gaskets, composite plate cylinder gaskets and asbestos cylinder gaskets.

The function of cylinder gasket:

1. Connect the cylinder cap and cylinder block

2. Seal the engine oil, cooling water and gas inside the cylinder;

3. Dissipate the heat generated in the cylinder block through the cylinder cap;
