In complex environments such as mines, construction sites, and ports, excavators need to install different lamps according to actual needs. Common lighting fixtures include:
1). Headlight: The front headlight of the excavator can be used to illuminate the driving route to facilitate the driving operation of the excavator driver.
2). Work light: The excavator work light is mainly used for working at night and is used to illuminate the working area to facilitate the excavator driver’s operation.
3). Width indicator light: The excavator width indicator light is located on the left and right sides of the excavator body. It is used to mark the width of the excavator and remind other vehicles to pay attention to safety when driving.
4). Taillight: The excavator taillight is installed at the rear of the excavator body. It can be used to mark the outline of the excavator body and serve as a warning when driving at night.
1). The work light of the crawler excavator needs to be installed at a high place to prevent the work light from being blocked when the excavator digs downward.
2). In addition to conventional excavator lights, wheeled excavators also need to consider the installation locations of vehicle lights and turn signals.
3). Due to the heavy weight of large excavators, buffer equipment needs to be installed. The lights have a protective effect in case of collision.
When using an excavator, lighting plays an important role. Installing suitable lighting as needed can improve work efficiency and safety.
