The steps to replace the hydraulic oil suction filters are as following:
1. For easy access, turn the upper vehicle 90 degrees and park the machine on level ground.
2. Position the machine with the arm cylinder fully retracted and the bucket cylinder fully extended.
3. Lower the bucket to the ground.
4. Turn off the automatic idle switch.
5. Run the engine at low no-load speed for 5 minutes.
6. Turn off the engine. Remove the key from under the key switch.
7. Pull the pilot control switch lever to the locked position.
8. Clean the top of the hydraulic oil tank to prevent dirt from invading the system.
9. Open the fuel tank cap key, slowly unscrew the fuel tank cap and release the pressure.
10. Loosen and remove the hydraulic oil suction filter box cover.
11. Loosen and remove the drain plug at the bottom of the hydraulic tank to drain the hydraulic oil in the tank.
12. Take out the oil suction filter and suspension rod assembly.
13. Clean the filter and the inside of the box. If replacing the suction filter with a new one, install the new filter on the suspension rod as shown in the picture. Tighten the nut to 14.5 to 19.5 N.m.
14. Use an oil suction pump to suck out the remaining oil at the bottom of the tank from the tank cap. The hydraulic tank is about 239L.
15. Install the filter and suspension rod assembly. Make sure the filter is correctly positioned on the outlet
