R2000-720 boasts its rated hoisting torque of 20000 t/m, maximum hoisting capacity of 720 tons, and maximum hoisting height of 400 meters, which is equivalent to hoisting 500 cars to a height of 130 floors at once. It integrates 158 innovative scientific research achievements and 305 patents for invention, including more than 60 core key technologies and 12 world pioneering technologies. The first R2000-720 will be used in the construction of the three-tower cable-stayed bridge with the world’s largest span - Ma’anshan Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge

Zoomlion technical department said, R2000-720 applies Zoomlion’s pioneering mobile balancing weight technology, which allows the balancing weight to move accurately with changes in hoisting torque, achieving a significant improvement of over 60% in hoisting performance. Additionally, R2000-720 innovates in the design of a high load-bearing lightweight structure and a heavy-duty split structure. On the premise of ensuring high load-bearing capacity, R2000-720 reduces the weight of the upper structure of tower crane by more than 20% compared to conventional solutions, solving the problems of transportation, installation and disassembly.

In order to make the tower crane more agile, Zoomlion has also made great efforts in intelligent control technology to make the tower crane more smart.The multi-source information fusion ETI intelligent control system applies 230 intelligent control strategies and 50 intelligent technologies to achieve millisecond level response, enabling R2000-720 to be enough “large”, “stable”, “fast” and “accurate”.
