1. Temperature range
High-temperature water pumps are mainly used to transport high-temperature fluids, and their operating temperatures are usually between 100°C and 500°C. The cryogenic water pump is suitable for transporting low-temperature fluids, and its operating temperature is usually between -120℃-20℃. Therefore, the operating temperature ranges of these two water pumps are significantly different.
2. Material selection
Since high-temperature water pumps need to resist corrosion and wear in high-temperature environments during operation, their components are usually made of high-temperature-resistant materials, such as high-temperature alloy steel, stainless steel, etc. Cryogenic water pumps mainly face the challenges of low-temperature environments and need to have excellent low-temperature tolerance and anti-condensation capabilities. Therefore, their components are usually made of special low-temperature alloy steel or equipped with special sealing designs.
3. Sealing performance
Since the high-temperature water pump works in a high-temperature environment, in order to ensure that the fluid does not leak and the pump operates normally, a high degree of sealing performance is required. Therefore, high-temperature water pumps are usually equipped with high-temperature and pressure-resistant mechanical seals, such as high-temperature mechanical seals or corrosion-resistant packing seals. Cryogenic water pumps require special low-temperature sealing materials to ensure that there are no leakage or freezing problems at extremely low temperatures.
4. Performance requirements
High-temperature water pumps need to have high temperature resistance, pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, good sealing performance and stable operating characteristics during operation. When selecting a high-temperature water pump, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the temperature, pressure, corrosiveness and other parameters of the medium, and select appropriate materials and sealing devices. The cryogenic water pump needs to have excellent low temperature tolerance, anti-condensation ability and good sealing performance to ensure stable operation at extremely low temperatures.
