On the water channel and water tank of the car. The water temperature sensor wire of the Yanmar engine is connected to the engine cooling water channel, near the thermostat at the rear of the cylinder head.
1. After determining the type and model of the sensor, check the engine's circuit diagram to find the designated location where the sensor is connected. Typically, a water temperature sensor is installed in the engine's cooling system so that it can monitor the engine's water temperature and transmit the signal to the engine controller. Generally speaking, a water temperature sensor will have two wires, one connected to the sensor's signal wire and one connected to the ground wire.
2. Before connecting the sensor, make sure the circuit is powered off. At the same time, we need to use the correct tools and materials for connections to avoid short circuits or other safety issues.
3. After connecting the sensor, we need to test the system to ensure that the sensor can work properly.
