Before starting the car crane, check the coolant level, engine oil and fuel volume, battery electrolyte level, lights, instruments, tire pressure, etc. The driver can only start the vehicle after careful inspection according to the procedures, contents and requirements that should be checked before starting.
1. Operation method. Start the engine normally, check that there are no people or obstacles around the machine, then sound the horn and start the engine. Do not let the starter rotate continuously for more than 20 seconds. If the engine fails to start, you must wait at least 2 minutes before starting again. Turn the key to the ON position. Then gently depress the accelerator pedal. Turn the key of the starter switch to the start position to start the engine. When the engine has started, release the key from the starter switch and the key will automatically return to the ON position.
a. Tighten the parking brake and set the gear lever to the neutral position.
b. Turn on the ignition switch and connect the ignition circuit.
c. Depress the clutch pedal with your left foot, depress the accelerator pedal with your right foot slightly, pull out the choke knob for the gasoline engine (it is not necessary to pull out when the engine is warm), and turn the ignition switch key to the start position to start; for the diesel engine, turn the start knob or button.
d. After the engine starts, after the engine idle speed is stable, release the clutch pedal, keep running at low speed, and gradually increase the engine temperature. Never depress the accelerator pedal hard to avoid excessive oil pressure and increased engine wear.
a. The engine should be preheated under low temperature conditions. Generally, you can add hot water and crank the crankshaft with a hand crank to ensure that each lubricating surface is fully lubricated. It is strictly prohibited to use an open flame to preheat.
When starting a cold engine in severe cold conditions, first turn the fan by hand to prevent the water pump shaft from freezing, turn the rocker arm of the gasoline pump to fill the carburetor with gasoline, and preheat the engine before starting.
b. The starter should not work for more than 5 seconds at a time, and the button must not be pressed for a long time to avoid damage to the starter and battery. No more than 2 consecutive starts should be made, and the interval between each time should be 10 to 15 seconds. If it still cannot be started three times in a row, it should be checked and restarted after the fault is eliminated.
c. It is prohibited to start by dragging, bumping, sliding down a slope or jerking the clutch pedal to avoid damage to machine parts and accidents.
When the truck crane needs to be stopped after the operation, the gasoline truck crane only needs to turn off the ignition switch and observe the swing of the ammeter pointer to determine whether the circuit has been cut off. Do not slam the accelerator pedal before stopping the engine. This will not only waste fuel, but also increase engine wear. If the engine stalls when the temperature is too high, first let the engine idle for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the parts to cool evenly, and then turn off the ignition switch to stop the engine.
When a diesel vehicle is stopped and stopped, it should be run at idle speed for a few minutes. After the standby parts are evenly cooled, the parking handle can be operated to turn the fuel injection pump plunger to the non-fuel position, and then the vehicle can be stopped.
