Working principle of pneumatic stop valve: Most valves that use compressed air as the power source are remotely controlled. The main control room manually or automatically triggers action instructions to activate the inlet and exhaust solenoid valves to supply and exhaust compressed air to the actuator. Compressed air acts on the piston or diaphragm, overcoming the friction of the valve action and the spring force on the valve stem, thereby depressing (opening the valve for loss of air) or lifting (closing the valve for loss of air) the valve stem, driving the valve core to move up and down. , causing the valve to open or close.
When the valve loses air and there is no compressed air in the driving head, the valve will be in a fully open or fully closed safe position according to the system requirements. For compressed air used in power plants, the supply pressure is generally 4 to 9 bar. Before entering the valve, the compressed air is first filtered and purified through the filter, and then decompressed through the pressure reducing valve. The reading of the inlet pressure gauge does not exceed 4 bar. Pressure adjustment can be achieved by adjusting the adjusting screw installed on the top of the pressure reducing valve. Before adjustment, loosen the protective cover.
