Introduction to the functions and classification of relief valves:

I. Overview of relief valves

Relief valve is a commonly used flow control component and is widely used in hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical transmission systems. Its function is: when the fluid pressure exceeds a certain value, the excess fluid is brought back to the oil storage tank to ensure the safe operation of the system.

In applications, relief valves are widely used in flow control, hydraulic protection, circuit processing, machinery safety, etc. Different types of relief valves have different characteristics and application ranges. II. Classification introduction of relief valves

1. Hydraulic relief valve

Hydraulic relief valve, also called pressure relief valve, is one of the commonly used components in hydraulic systems. When the hydraulic flow in the system exceeds the safe range, the hydraulic relief valve will automatically open and return the excess hydraulic oil flow to the tank. 2. Pneumatic relief valve

Pneumatic relief valve, also called overload pneumatic valve, transmits the overload signal to the valve core through compressed air, causing the relief valve port to open and discharge excess gas to play a protective role. Pneumatic relief valves can be used for overload protection of air compressors and pneumatic machinery.

3. Solenoid relief valve

The solenoid relief valve is a valve driven by an electromagnet. The electromagnetic attraction of the electromagnet is used to move the valve core to control the liquid flow. Solenoid relief valves can be used for flow control, pressure protection and loop processing.


III. Application cases of relief valves
