1. Stainless steel
Stainless steel is one of the common valve stem materials and has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, strength and toughness. Depending on the composition and characteristics of stainless steel, common stainless steel valve stem materials include 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, etc.
2. High strength alloy steel
High-strength alloy steel valve stems are mainly composed of Cr-Mo alloy, Ni-Cr-Mo-V and other elements. They have the characteristics of high strength, high toughness, wear resistance and high temperature resistance. Common high-strength alloy steel valve stem materials include AISI 4140, AISI 4340, etc.
3. Carbon steel
Carbon steel valve stems have the characteristics of wear resistance and high strength, and are usually used in valves under low pressure and high temperature. Common carbon steel valve stem materials include C45, C35, 20#, etc.
